As mentioned in my prevous post there are many things you can do while on a holiday in a Butlins caravan holiday, also you may remember that the Butlins caravan holiday I got to sample was one that is in Skegness. There used to be lots of Butlins holiday camps dotted around the country but they have all been sold off to other competing holiday camps, apart from the one at Skegness, Bognor Regis and Minehead. As stated before the Butlins holiday caravan I stayed in was at the Skegness holiday camp.

The Skegness Butlins Holiday Camp, or Funcoast World as it used to be called, is the original of all the Butlins Holiday camps across the UK and it is partly due to this butlins that Skegness has become the popular seaside tourist resort it is today. However this butlins camp with all of its holiday caravans is only part of the story to the success of Skegness in the grand scheme of things.

There is so much to do on a caravan holiday at Butlins in Skegness as there are the numerous onsite entertainments and activities, but also apart from this there are the numerous attractions in and around Skegness. You can buy static caravans in Skegness from many companies but the best one for getting your caravans onto a Butlins holiday camp would be Skegness Caravan Sales. Butlins is a short walk from the local water leisure park in Winthorpe so if you are interested in a spot of water skiing you cant do much better than that.

 Within walking distance there are also lots of drinking pubs around to keep the adults happy and merry, most of these will have dedicated family areas to let the kids run free while the adults keep themselves entertained.

I used to work at Butlis in Skegness as a lifeguard, I loved it, it was a real eye opening, getting a chance to work at a busy pool in the middle of a large campsite with people of all ages and from all different walks of life. When I had teh chance to sample a Butlins caravan holiday I had to take it. I always wondered what it would be like to stay in a butlins caravan holiday and I have to say I wasnt unhappy with the whole experience, it was always as I had imagined.

Whilst on my butlins caravan holiday I was able to use their pools, they have an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, numerous pubs and club houses and even use their fun fair. There is so much for a family to do on a butlins caravans holiday that I couldnt even start to list all of the things available to tourist on holiday at one of the Butlins caravan holiday parks across the UK. Im not sure about the Butlins holiday camp at Bognor Regis or Minehead but the Skegness one has a large millenium dome-esque canvas covering over a large part of the entertainments to keep the weather at bay, english coastal weather is notoriously bad outside of the summer months.

 The large dome houses numerous food outlets including a Burger King and Harry Ramsdens, as well as a 2 screen cinema and entertainments all through the day. Kids and adults will be entertained all day long on a butlins holiday and the butlins caravan holidays make everything so accessible and affordable to everyone.
